Plus, the compact design makes it the perfect accessory while traveling. Thanks to advanced dye-sublimation technology, the ink is infused directly onto the paper with extraordinary precision and control for smooth, sharp digital images you'll enjoy for years to come.

The PictureStation also lets you discover all sorts of unique and fun ways to display your images. The creative and editing functions let you add a personal touch; simply select your favorite picture and create vibrant calendars to share with family or friends, or even design postcards, albums, and displays with the touch of a button.

Additional Features
The PictureStation saves you time and lets you enjoy your pictures almost immediately after you take them. In fact, you'll have lab-quality prints in about 70 seconds! Direct memory card slots and automatic PictBridge recognition means you'll be able to print your pictures quickly and easily. The PictureStation is equipped with a total of three memory card slots for three different kinds of cards: Memory Stick media, Memory Stick DUO media, and SD Card. To make things even more convenient, the PictBridge automatically recognizes the digital camera when connected via the USB interface with no need for setup. PictBridge technology also ensures you won't need to ever worry about hooking up to your PC in order to print. With the PictureStation, you are truly free to print whenever and wherever you wish. For added convenience, the PictureStation prints two print sizes: 4 x 6 inches and 3.5 x 5 inches.

Easy Operation
The PictureStation operates just like a digital camera. The newly-designed user interface allows you to select, edit and create your own prints easily. Choose your images with the nine picture thumbnail display or enlarge the image to delete unfocused digital pictures. When it's time to print, simply insert the memory card to the printer, select the picture with the LCD monitor and push "PRINT." It's that simple.

Dye-Sublimation Technology and Lamination
The PictureStation uses advanced technology to ensure that every print you make is sharp and vivid. First, the printer's thermal head heats the ink ribbon for precise control and density control. Then, PictureStation delivers 256 gradations for each of the three colors used per dot, resulting in smooth, rich, high-definition color prints. The PictureStation also offers color resolution of 256 levels by three colors and a general resolution of 300 x 300 dpi.

Sony's unique lamination process protects photos from color shift and fading. Super Coat 2 also protects your photos from water, heat and fingerprints. Image quality is preserved for years to come, even when displayed on a wall for a long time. Memories may fade, but your pictures won't!
