The ergonomic triangular shape ensures fatigue-free writing. The lacquer is applied using an environmentally friendly water-based varnish, a technology first introduced by Faber-Castell. The lead is fully bonded to the wooden casing, making it particularly break-resistant. The GRIP 2001 pencil is available in 5 different degrees of hardness.
