The Brother PT QL-820NWB is one of the first professional desktop label printers capable of printing two-color red and black labels using direct thermal printing. This allows you to create a completely new level of organization in your files, folders, shelves, storage media, and for name or price tags. With the separately available battery, you can expand the device into a self-contained, mobile label printing system.

Fast, simple and reliable

Despite its two-color printing, you don't have to compromise on media handling or speed: The device prints up to 110 labels per minute with widths between 12 and 62 mm. It can also handle multi-line printing. The label outlet reliably prevents paper jams, while the automatic cutter cuts the printed labels to the desired length.

Connection and label design

The QL-820NWB can be connected to a PC via USB and used as a standalone device. Alternatively, you can integrate it into your local network via wired or wireless LAN or WLAN and share it with others. Mobile devices can also be connected directly via Bluetooth. Internet mobile printing is also possible thanks to the "iPrint&Label" app and AirPrint support. Designing perfect labels is quick and easy with the "P-touch Lite LAN".

Integrated cutting unit

This printer has an integrated cutter that separates the printed material after printing. When using continuous label or receipt rolls, you can create printed materials of custom lengths.

Direct thermal printing: cost-efficient and simple

This printer uses the direct thermal printing process. It prints on a special, temperature-sensitive material, which changes color due to the heat. Aside from special thermal paper, no additional consumables are required. This makes the printer easy to use and reduces waste. However, the temperature sensitivity of the medium means the prints are less durable. Direct thermal printing is therefore particularly suitable for applications where the shorter lifespan is not a disadvantage and cost-efficiency is paramount – for example, receipts, luggage tags, shipping labels, or tickets.
