The Brother PT QL-820NWB is one of the first professional desktop label printers capable of printing 2-color red-black labels using direct thermal printing. Connection and Label Design

The QL-820NWB can be connected to a PC via USB and used as a standalone device. Alternatively, you can integrate it into your local network wired or wirelessly via LAN or Wi-Fi and use them together. Mobile devices can also be connected directly via Bluetooth. Mobile internet printing is also possible thanks to the "iPrint&Label" app and AirPrint support. With the "P-touch Lite LAN," you can design perfect labels easily and in just a few steps.

Integrated Cutter

This printer has an integrated cutter that cuts the print media after printing. By using continuous label or receipt rolls, you have the option of creating custom-length prints.

Direct thermal printing: cost-effective and simple

This printer uses the direct thermal process. This involves printing on a special, temperature-sensitive material. The heat causes the material to change color. Apart from special thermal paper, no additional consumables are required. This makes this printer easy to use and produces less waste. However, due to the temperature sensitivity of the medium, the prints are less durable. Direct thermal printing is therefore particularly recommended for applications where shorter durability is not a disadvantage and cost-effectiveness is paramount – for example, receipts, luggage tags, shipping labels, or tickets.
